Neighborhood House Kid's Bicycle Parade

June 1, 2007

Today, about 40 children from the Morristown Neighborhood House will ride their bicycles from the Neighborhood House to Pioneer Plaza.  The children decorated their bicycles yesterday at the Neighborhood House with help from Family Services.  When the children arrive at Pioneer Plaza on their bicycles, they will be presented with certificates congratulating them, along with goodie bags filled with fun things from our sponsors.  The children will also be wearing new bicycle helmets donated by Morristown Memorial Hospital.

This community event was organized by Lashone Petty of the Neighborhood House and Marty Epstein of Marty’s Reliable Cycle.  They worked together to gather support from local businesses and organizations.

Thanks to our local sponsors who helped make this bicycle parade possible.
